Hands-on learning in the Colorado Springs area.
Learning by growing, making, selling, and doing.
Philosotribe is our family's space for practical learning. As part of our homeschooling, we teach our kids through real experiences including gardening, business, craft skills, problem solving, and the steady work of making useful things by hand.
What we practice
A homegrown education rooted in useful skills.
We strive to provide an environment for our kids to learn skills that extend beyond the standard curriculum. Some days that means seedlings and soil. Other days it might be planning projects, working on crafts, or learning customer service skills at our sale stands. Blacksmithing, drafting, needlework, and gardening are just some of the extra skills we try to add to our family's learning.
